Sri Vasavi Industries Limited (SVIL) a division of GER VASAVI Group based at Andhra Pradesh, have implemented a Ferro Alloys project at WBIIDC Industrial Growth Centre at Bishnupur in "No Industry District", Bankura, West Bengal.

The plant is operating successfully at its full capacity. This unit has helped in regional development and generated employment for more than 2,000 workmen engaged directly or indirectly.

The location of the plant has the benefit of its close proximity to both the raw material availability as well as to Haldia and Paradip Ports.

SVIL is in the process of enhancing capacity for manufacturing of ferro chrome. Also steps have been initiated to produce ferro silicon and manganese alloys to add to the present product mix.
